Matter of registering a police complaint against a public servant holding a public office in the state

Circular:

Whenever any legal action is taken by the Government in the interest of the Government as part of its duties within the limits of the provisions of the Act, given by the public servants engaged in the service of the State Government. When a complaint is lodged, and a chargesheet or final report is submitted, an FIR is lodged against the public servants. As soon as it is noted, full details of it appear in the current papers, which adversely affects their morale, and tarnishes the image of the Government. The Government is committed to prevent such incidents and to see a positive solution.

In view of the above details, at the end of the adult deliberation of the Government, the following survey in cases of registration of police complaints against public servants holding public office in the State is directed to take the following action.

Whenever appropriate legal action is taken against any person by a government official holding a public office and such person contacts the concerned police and an FIR is lodged against the government official. When asked to register, the police immediately registered an FIR. Not to mention, but only after thorough investigation of the full details of the case will appropriate action be taken as per law.

Therefore, whether they have committed a cognizable offense in the first instance against a government official holding a public office in the state, the matter is under FIR. Adequate verification before registration is reported to the concerned surveyor, and all are instructed to follow it strictly.
