In the academic year 2020-21, summer vacation in schools will be from 03/05/2021 to 06/06/2021. To control the global epidemic caused by the transmission of Corona virus covid-19 by the state government and local bodies among the academic and non-academic staff / officers of government and private primary, secondary and higher secondary schools in the state who have not been assigned any task. Academic and non-academic staff / officers will not be required to attend school. But if any operation is assigned by the State Government and / or the local authority, its investigation shall strictly follow all the instructions given by the State Government and / or the local authority. Educational and non-academic staff of private schools (independent schools) are exempted from attending school. The Director, Office of Primary Education and Government, Grant-in-Aid and Self Help Schools under the control of Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Gandhinagar and the teachers of those schools must abide by the instructions of the academic calendar to be decided by the said officers for the new academic year. All ancillary procedures for strict implementation of all the above instructions shall be undertaken by the Director, Office of Schools, Director, Office of Primary Education and Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
