Under the Annual Work Plan and Budget Year 2019-20 of the entire education by the Government of India. To issue identity cards to all the States and Union Territories to all the working teachers of their primary, secondary and higher secondary schools. The identity card should contain a photograph, teacher's name, designation, school name, school (UDISE) code and full school address (including village, taluka, district details).
If the teacher identity card is yet to be issued
- The design approved by the office for Teacher Identity Card is attached herewith. According to which the identity card has to be prepared including all the details of the teacher.
- Teachers who have not been issued Teacher Identity Card (Teacher Identity Card) as per the proposed design will have to be issued from District / Corporation level. You can adopt your own leading planning and approach for the implementation of this project. Under which the existing Act norms and rules of the Government must be followed for the procurement process.
- Innovative work can be done from the district / corporation level to increase the life and usefulness of the identity card by deciding on the choice of card material, aptitude-type of printing as well as the use of technology like RFID, QR Code etc.
- Prior to issuing the identity card, each teacher's identity must be verified with a photograph and appointment details.
- All (100%) working teachers of government primary schools as well as government and grant-in-aid secondary, higher secondary schools are issued identity cards with photo. And the school will always have to make sure that you keep your ID with you.
- For teachers who are currently in possession of teacher identity card information. 50 per teacher as per the total budget fixed for the district / corporation. Grants will be allotted to the entire Samagra Shiksha District / Corporation Project Office. According to which the budget will have to be spent within the limits.
